But according to a county sheriff’s $1 million defamation suit, the whole saga was less federal nightmare and more hotel stay with spa perks — a claim that, if true, leaves the public performance by Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison looking a lot less heroic and a lot more like someone pressing “share” before checking the vibe.
