Trump’s Election Order Shot Down Again
Another blow to election integrity landed Friday as a second federal judge blocked President Donald Trump’s executive order designed to restore fairness and transparency to America’s chaotic voting system. The order, issued on March 25, would have required proof of citizenship to register to vote in federal elections, ended the practice of counting mail-in ballots received after Election Day, and ensured that states followed these rules in exchange for federal election funds. Yet again, the will of the people is undercut as unelected judges sideline common-sense measures to secure our elections, favoring bureaucratic loopholes over ballot-box accountability.
