Trader Joe’s has sealed a $7.4 million class-action settlement after allegations it exposed customers’ credit card digits on receipts, a privacy blunder tied to federal FACTA rules and roughly 757,663 card numbers. Shoppers who bought during the March 5 to July 19, 2019 window may now file claims, with payouts estimated at $102.45 each, while the chain denies wrongdoing and moves to end a costly fight before a final fairness hearing on August 10, 2026.
