THOMAS: PROGRESSIVISM THREAT

Justice Clarence Thomas went on the attack Wednesday, blasting modern progressivism as a direct threat to America’s founding principles and warning it seeks to replace the very premises of the Declaration of Independence. In a rare public speech at the University of Texas, the Supreme Court’s longest-serving justice said the nation’s founders’ values have “fallen out of favor” and urged younger Americans to stand up for their beliefs before others “control how we think and what we think.”
