TEXAS GOP: SHARIA CRACKDOWN!
Texas Republicans are turning a long-running warning about political Islam into a full-blown state push, with the Texas GOP making “Don’t Sharia Our Texas” an official 2026-2028 legislative priority and calling for probes into foreign money, land deals, Sharia-compliant finance, private tribunals and terror-linked groups. Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick has ordered Senate scrutiny of “Preventing Sharia Law in Texas,” including the EPIC City project, while GOP lawmakers pressed the issue at a Fort Worth conference on “Stopping Islam” and “Islamization,” signaling a hard-edged fight over how far Texas can go under existing law — and how much more power it wants.
