Los Angeles mayoral hopeful Spencer Pratt is turning the city’s filth into a campaign ad, power-washing sidewalks to spell out, “Imagine if the streets were this clean,” a pointed jab at Mayor Karen Bass and the city’s dirty, long-neglected streets. The stunt has gone viral, but the message is deadly serious: for voters fed up with grime, homelessness, and crime, this November’s choice is about whether L.A. keeps sliding or finally gets cleaned up.
