Career criminal Courtney Boose, with nearly 100 prior arrests, has been charged with attempted murder after stabbing a 69-year-old man at a gas station in Lawrence. Shockingly, this habitual offender has never served time in prison due to a lenient criminal justice system that continues to fail the citizens of Indianapolis. Indianapolis FOP President Rick Snyder blasted Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears for downgrading the charges against Boose, jeopardizing the safety of the community. With the city averaging a homicide every 53 hours and a recent spike in violent crime, it’s evident that the principles of law and order are crumbling in the capital city, leaving innocent lives at risk.
