The Red Cross has yanked a sympathetic documentary celebrating Afghan migrant Sharif Ahmadzai’s “success story” after he was arrested over the suspected murder of 38-year-old Scottish aid worker Elisabeth-Jane Ross, whose body was allegedly stuffed into a suitcase in an abandoned building. The film, once a showcase of hardship and resilience, is now a glaring embarrassment as the case explodes into a grim headline of violence, outrage and damage control.
