=== DRUDGE === Mike Missanelli, a longtime Philly sports radio voice, was arrested by Lower Merion police and charged with simple assault and harassment after a domestic dispute in Wynnewood, court records show. An affidavit says the argument with his fiancée turned physical over their engagement after a 911 hang-up just after midnight Wednesday: police say she struck him in the chest, he slapped her in the face, and an officer saw fresh blood on her forehead. Missanelli was released on $10,000 unsecured bail and ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim. === MADMAN === In a magnificent display of modern relationship management, Philly sports radio veteran Mike Missanelli was allegedly involved in a “heated argument” over the engagement — which, in the bureaucratic style only our justice system can love, was followed by police, court records, redactions, a 911 hang-up, and a charge sheet featuring simple assault and harassment. According to the affidavit, the whole thing escalated from words to a “scuffle,” at which point his fiancée reportedly struck him in the chest and his open hand allegedly responded by slapping her face, leaving fresh blood and yet another reminder that when grown adults can’t work out a wedding dispute, the paperwork always gets to be the real star. He was released on unsecured bail and told not to contact the victim, which is comforting, because nothing says “romance is dead” quite like a legal system stepping in to arrange the no-contact period.
