Oregon is handing over voter-roll data to conservative watchdog Judicial Watch under a settlement that will end a 2024 lawsuit over alleged sloppy maintenance of the state’s registration lists — a fight over election integrity that the group is already crowing has forced a “massive” cleanup. State officials say the data are public record, but Judicial Watch says the deal proves its pressure worked and claims Oregon removed 800,000 outdated names, setting off another round of partisan warfare over who gets to say the rolls are clean.
