Oil jolted lower Monday as traders bet the U.S. and Iran are edging toward a peace deal, with Brent sinking to $95.04 and WTI to $91.02, both off more than 5 percent, while Trump said talks are “proceeding nicely” and Tehran said progress has been made but no deal is done. Gas eased just a penny to $4.50 a gallon nationwide — still punishingly high for Memorial Day, as more than 39 million Americans hit the roads and the Iran war keeps pressure on the pump.
