Sen. Lisa Murkowski is back in the spotlight, blasting Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and declaring she won’t back him for attorney general — a move that could matter in a razor-thin GOP Senate where every squish counts. Murkowski praised Blanche as “decent and capable” but unloaded on the DOJ’s “politicization,” citing the Epstein file release, immunity protections, anti-abortion remarks and alleged targeting of Trump allies and senators. The Alaska Republican’s no vote underscores just how much leverage the party’s most unreliable votes now hold over Trump’s agenda.
