Federal agents swooped in Monday with a search warrant at the Spring, Texas home of Daniel Moreno-Gama, the man accused of hurling a Molotov cocktail at OpenAI boss Sam Altman’s San Francisco house in a predawn attack that’s rattling officials and fueling fears of a dangerous new wave of anti-tech extremism. San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins vowed her office would prosecute “to the fullest extent of the law,” calling it a chilling escalation in the AI debate and warning that however heated the rhetoric gets, ideological disagreements do not justify violence.
