ICE has detained Carlos Corte-Corte, a 38-year-old Ecuadorian illegal immigrant, after he allegedly kidnapped a 4-year-old girl from a Long Island laundromat — and the case is now exploding into a fight over sanctuary policy. DHS says the three-time deportee was picked up March 31 and placed into removal proceedings after the March 28 incident at Laundry Kingdom in Patchogue, with officials blasting New York authorities for releasing him back into the community instead of cooperating with ICE.
