“The Save America Act is the most important bill the U.S. Senate could ever pass, and I’m committed to helping President Trump get it done.”

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who is running for the US Senate Seat currently held by John Cornyn, has said he would drop out of the race if his incumbent opponent helps get the SAVE Act passed in the Senate.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, vying for John Cornyn’s Senate seat, has declared the Save America Act the Senate’s most crucial bill and pledged his commitment to helping President Trump pass it, even threatening to drop out of the race if Senate leadership lifts the filibuster to pass the legislation. Paxton criticized Cornyn as a coward for refusing to abolish the filibuster and accused the media of spreading falsehoods about his loyalty, emphasizing his steadfast support for Trump since the 2020 election and through his 2024 campaign announcement. He framed his resolve as essential for advancing Trump’s agenda and positioned himself as a champion against establishment forces and cancel culture, underscoring the need for independent journalism.
