Fifty-seven percent of Americans want all illegal migrants sent home, according to a Harvard Harris poll.

The 57 percent includes 54 percent of political independents and 79 percent of Republicans, but just 35 percent of Democrats, said the February 26-28 poll of 1,999 registered voters by The Harris Poll and HarrisX.

A recent Harvard Harris poll reveals that 57 percent of Americans want all illegal migrants deported, including 54 percent of independents and 79 percent of Republicans, though only 35 percent of Democrats agree, highlighting a strong majority despite staunch resistance from pro-migration politicians, media, and influencers. Additionally, 63 percent support barring illegal migrants from obtaining commercial driver’s licenses, with only 40 percent of Democrats in favor. However, this widespread desire for deportation contrasts with swing voters’ opposition to aggressive enforcement tactics, as 55 percent reject hiring 20,000 additional border patrol and ICE agents for immigration raids, reflecting the complexity of public opinion on immigration enforcement.
