Under Governor Tim Walz’s dangerous sanctuary policies, convicted child predators were allowed to walk among the innocent citizens of Minnesota—until ICE finally stepped in. In a sweeping operation, federal agents apprehended over a dozen criminal illegal aliens, many of whom had been convicted of horrifying offenses including first-degree sexual assault of children and lewd acts against minors. These individuals, mostly from Laos and Thailand, were permitted to roam free under the protections of liberal open-borders ideology, putting countless American children in harm’s way. DHS condemned Minnesota’s far-left leadership for tying the hands of law enforcement, while ICE heroically risked everything to bring justice to communities abandoned by their own state government. As the Biden administration turns a blind eye to the dangers of sanctuary cities, Trump-era officials vow to “flood the zone” and clean up the mess liberal policies have left behind.
