AbbVie‘s former megablockbuster Humira (adalimumab) has made its debut on TrumpRx, where patients can purchase a month’s supply of the anti–TNF-α mAb for $950 in cash. While the pricetag is an 86% discount from Humira’s nearly-$7000 list price, the government-run direct-to-consumer (DTC) site also offers a pair of Humira biosimilars at half, or less, the price of the name-brand autoimmune disease drug.

TrumpRx just got a jolt: AbbVie’s once-dominant Humira is now for sale there for $950 a month, still far below its old list price but pricier than the biosimilars already undercutting it, while Gilead’s Xofluza also lands on the site for $50. At the same time, Biogen struck an antisense pact with Alloy, Lilly amended its tau deal with AC Immune, and Vertex hooked up with Halozyme on drug-delivery tech — a fresh wave of biopharma maneuvering as cash-pay medicine, biosimilars and platform deals collide.
