For decades, the humble coffee maker has been a familiar sight in hotel rooms across the country.
But after one influencer’s viral revelation, it appears they could be on their way out.
Tara Woodcox, an influencer and fitness coach, made headlines after claiming you could wash your underwear in a hotel coffee machine – by placing it where the coffee filter would go and running hot water through it.
She even suggested drying the underwear with a hairdryer.
While she described it as the ‘coolest trick’, viewers quickly expressed their disgust, branding the hack ‘nasty’, ‘inconsiderate’ and a ‘health code violation’.
One commenter wrote on X: ‘Just wow. And if you are in a hotel room, you also have access to a sink, a tub, and hot and cold water.
