HERRIDGE: INTELLIGENCE BIAS WAS SUPPRESSED
The China election bombshell is back in the spotlight, and it’s explosive. Catherine Herridge says President Trump is declassifying records on what he calls the Chinese Communist Party’s “multi-domain” influence operations in 2020 — a sweeping effort that allegedly used government power, trade, diplomacy, social media and open-source reporting to undermine his re-election. Trump went further, calling it “the largest compromise of election data in history,” and claiming China obtained 200 million U.S. voter files.
The stakes are staggering. Herridge says the data could be used for voter fraud, identity theft, and even targeting Americans for recruitment. She also reports Trump’s accusation that the Chinese influence operation was intentionally suppressed by elements inside the U.S. intelligence community and kept from him. That ties into her earlier reporting on a whistleblower complaint central to the allegations — and she says that whistleblower was brutally retaliated against for speaking out about bias and intelligence being withheld.
