Pew is out with a jolt: 44% of Muslim Americans say they support Hamas, while just 26% view the Israeli people favorably, underscoring how sharply the Gaza war is reshaping attitudes inside the U.S. The survey also shows a widening generational split, with younger Americans far more sympathetic to Palestinians than Israelis, and younger Republicans and Democrats breaking from older voters in striking ways. Jewish Americans and White evangelical Protestants remain the strongest backers of Israel, but the broader trend is ominous for Israel as skepticism grows over its conduct and influence in Washington.
