GUNSHOTS, DEAD BODY, AND A CONGRESSWOMAN’S HOME
Boston police are investigating a grim discovery in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood after a dead person was found Saturday inside a home owned by the husband of Massachusetts Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley. Officers were called to the Malta Street house at 1:52 p.m. to check on a report, and when they arrived, they found the person already dead. Police later said the person died of a gunshot wound.
The shocking scene quickly drew a homicide investigation, with a Boston police cruiser parked outside the home and red crime scene tape sealing off the property as night fell. Authorities have released no further details about the victim or what led up to the death, and on Sunday police said they had no additional information to add.
