Chaos and violence shattered the facade of so-called peaceful protest in Salt Lake City this weekend, as a massive "No Kings" demonstration—rife with anti-Trump rhetoric and radical fervor—descended into bloodshed. Amid the ten-thousand-strong crowd, gunfire erupted, sending panicked protesters fleeing and leaving two men wounded, one critically. Law enforcement swiftly intervened, arresting the alleged shooter—who was wounded himself—and detaining two others as investigators now probe whether the politically charged gathering harbored darker motives. Once again, calls for “resistance” prove to be more than words, as radical elements on the left turn public streets into warzones under the guise of protest.
