Republicans Unveil $342 Million Battle Plan to Keep the Senate
The Senate GOP’s top super PAC is going all-in, unveiling a nearly $350 million war chest to defend control of the chamber and pouring tens of millions into red-leaning battlegrounds like Alaska, Iowa and Ohio. The Senate Leadership Fund says it is targeting eight crucial states total, with early TV ads set for September as Republicans try to protect five of their own seats and pry three Democratic-held ones away in a fight that could decide the majority.
