California's Insurance Commissioner has been living the high life at the expense of hardworking American taxpayers. Upgrading his flights to business and first class, expensing the five-star resort stays, chauffeurs, limo service, and even a safari, he has taken lavish trips around the world, racking up bills that would make even the most extravagant jet-setter blush. With more than 48 trips across the globe, his indulgences know no bounds, from a $11,600 stay at a 5-Star New York Hotel to VIP rooftop events and private security costing over $9,400. Taxpayers have been footing the bill for his jaunts, including a $24,000 trip to Bogota, Colombia for an LGBTI political leaders conference and a luxury hotel stay that lasted well beyond the 2-day insurance conference he attended. The sheer audacity of this abuse of public funds is truly staggering.
