Irish actor Michael Patrick, who appeared in a Game of Thrones episode, has died at 35 after a devastating battle with Motor Neurone Disease — a diagnosis that came just two years ago and slowly stripped away his strength. His family says he died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, as tributes pour in to a man remembered as a fierce, joyful presence whose illness exposed a brutal care crisis, including a tracheostomy wait he abandoned after being told staffing shortages could keep him hospitalized for up to 6-12 months.
