Anthropic revealed it uncovered 22 new security vulnerabilities in Firefox through a partnership with Mozilla, including 14 high-severity flaws, addressed in Firefox 148 released last month; using its Claude Opus 4.6 large language model, the AI company found almost a fifth of all the browser’s high-severity bugs patched in 2025, notably detecting a critical use-after-free JavaScript bug in just 20 minutes, later confirmed by human researchers.
