FBI HUNT FOR KILLER COPS SHOOTER
The FBI is scrambling to track down Michael Timothy Puckett, 55, now labeled armed and extremely dangerous after authorities say the career criminal ambushed and killed Carroll County Sheriff Logan Utt, 31, during a welfare check near Fancy Gap, Virginia, late Friday. Utt, a father and young veteran, was fatally shot, while another deputy was wounded but saved by his ballistic vest. Nearly 48 hours later, Puckett remains on the run, with a $10,000 reward on the table and a disturbing record behind him: police say he has been arrested 29 times in Virginia over the past decade, facing a trail of felony accusations including arson and explosives-related crimes.
