FALSE RAPE ACCUSER JAILED
A woman who falsely accused 10 men of rape has been jailed for four-and-a-half years after a Bolton court heard the damage was devastating and long-lasting. Stacey Sharples, 31, pleaded guilty to 10 counts of perverting the course of justice after allegations made between 2013 and 2019 led to arrests, custody, intimate examinations, job losses, shattered relationships and severe mental health fallout for men police say she knew would be hit hard.
