A new Fox News review says Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign hauled in more than $115,000 from dozens of donors tied to CAIR, an organization long dogged by allegations of extremist links — a haul that now threatens to become a flashpoint in an already volatile race. Among the contributors, records show, were CAIR national and chapter officials, including board leaders and El-Sayed’s own father-in-law, as scrutiny sharpens over who is bankrolling his bid and what those ties could mean politically.
