The press is a source of dark amusement these days, where the perpetual narrative that President Trump is seeking to deflect attention away from the Epstein Files dominates. These charges are always made with an insistence that guilt is apparent, and yet we have yet to see anything emerge that can be confidently pointed at as hard proof. The site insists that “new” details have emerged, and these “corroborate” what an accuser has said – that is, until you begin to read past the scathing headline. This is some high-level sophistry at work.
