COOKIE MONSTER BUSTED IN NAKED BEDROOM HORROR
Omaha police say a longtime known sex offender, Lavern Scott — nicknamed “Cookie Monster” — allegedly broke into a home, got naked, climbed into bed with a screaming 9-year-old boy and pinned the child down as a bottle of lotion sat on top of him. The grandfather burst in and drove Scott out, but the case is igniting outrage over how a man convicted of first-degree sexual assault in 1987 and 1999, and repeatedly busted for registry violations in 2017, 2018, 2022 and 2024, was still free to roam the streets.
