CLIMATE COPS RAID TRASH BINS
Sacramento is rolling out “Climate Cops” to pry open thousands of curbside bins, snap photos and leave cheery or chastising tags as part of California’s SB 1383 crackdown on trash sorting. City crews will spend months auditing garbage, recycling and organics in a push officials say is about compliance — and critics say is yet another jaw-dropping example of government going straight into the garbage.
