A former Chick-fil-A employee in North Texas is accused of turning the register into a cash machine, allegedly siphoning more than $80,000 through about 800 fake macaroni and cheese refunds to his own cards, police say. Keyshun Darnell Jones was arrested April 17 after repeatedly evading officers, and now faces felony theft, money laundering and evading arrest charges. The scheme was uncovered after a franchise owner in Grapevine reported the loss, with detectives saying surveillance showed Jones behind the counter without authorization after he’d already been fired.
