And the drama may not stop there: embattled Florida Democrat Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, already staring down a pending criminal indictment, could be next out the door, with House Speaker Mike Johnson declaring he’d support kicking her from Congress after a bipartisan ethics subcommittee found her guilty of more than two dozen violations. With lawmakers back in Washington, the House is bracing for a high-stakes, no-mercy showdown.
