A Mexican cartel boss has been accused of putting a hit on beauty influencer Valeria Marquez after she broke up with his son — a deadly order that turned her own salon into a killing zone. Prosecutors say Ramon Angel Alvarez Ayala, a senior figure in the feared CJNG cartel, also ordered the murder of a local mayor, and was captured Thursday after a car chase in Jalisco that left one of his guards dead. Marquez was livestreaming from her salon in Zapopan when a gunman, allegedly posing as a delivery driver, walked in and shot her last May — a brazen hit now exposing how cartel power, family rage and public violence collided in plain sight.
