Britain’s antisemitism crisis reaches a grim new flashpoint: Jeremy Jacobs, former chief of the United Synagogue charity, says he is selling his family home and fleeing to Israel after what he calls a brutal post–October 7 collapse in the country’s climate for Jews. In a letter to The Telegraph, the longtime British Jew said harassment by radicalized students near University College London — while he was walking with his three young granddaughters — drove home the danger, underscoring a wider sense that Jewish life in the UK is becoming untenable.
