BIONTA JOINS TRANS BATHROOM FIGHT
California Attorney General Rob Bonta has jumped into a high-stakes federal fight, joining 19 other attorneys general in backing a lawsuit to block Idaho’s ban on transgender students using school restrooms and other sex-separated facilities matching their gender identity. The coalition says House Bill 264 is unconstitutional, stigmatizes transgender students, and puts their safety at risk — and it wants a judge to slam the brakes on enforcement while the case moves ahead.
