Michael Avenatti, the blustery lawyer who repped Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against Donald Trump who then went to prison for ripping her and other clients off … is now a free man. Well, sort of.

Avenatti was convicted of various crimes — including a $20 million extortion scheme against Nike and stealing $300,000 from Stormy — and sentenced to 11 years 3 months. He served around 4 years and was released Tuesday.

Michael Avenatti is out of prison after serving about four years of an 11-year, 3-month sentence, but don’t call it freedom just yet — the once-blazing Stormy Daniels lawyer is headed for a Hollywood halfway house, must stay in mental health treatment, avoid unlawful controlled substances, and pay a staggering $5,937,725.58 in restitution. Convicted in a $20 million extortion scheme targeting Nike and for stealing $300,000 from Stormy Daniels, the camera-loving legal firebrand who once took aim at Donald Trump and Brett Kavanaugh is now back on the streets with a projected release date of September 2028 still looming.
