Former Arizona Democratic Party vice chair Brianna Westbrook is facing felony charges after a violent knife incident that police say turned a domestic dispute into a terrifying home invasion. Phoenix prosecutors hit Westbrook, who was arrested July 10, with third-degree burglary and aggravated assault using a simulated deadly weapon, plus misdemeanor disorderly conduct, after officers said Westbrook forced entry into an ex’s home carrying a knife and duct tape, wrestled with the victim, and lunged at the victim and her sister as screams broke out.
