$11 MILLION MEDICAID SCHEME, MINUS THE APPEARANCE
A Minnesota man accused of masterminding an $11 million Medicaid fraud racket has vanished from court, triggering a warrant and fresh fears he may be on the run. Abdirashid Ismail Said, 50, skipped a pretrial hearing in Hennepin County this week, forfeited his bond, and now faces a growing manhunt as prosecutors say he secretly ran multiple Medicaid-funded home health agencies for years despite a prior fraud conviction. Attorney General Keith Ellison says state and federal authorities are hunting him down — and vows Said will face justice.
