The U.S. is blasting three Russian nationals with a sweeping cybercrime indictment after a seven-year probe, accusing them of running a malicious operation that hammered U.S. critical infrastructure and victims in 21 states and abroad, racking up more than $62 million in losses. Prosecutors say the St. Petersburg-based defendants used Media Land and ML.Cloud to power the attacks, while the State Department is dangling up to $10 million for tips as Washington moves to choke off the network and hunt down its foreign backers.
