President Trump is reportedly moving to install White House health policy adviser Dr. Heidi Overton, a fierce anti-abortion advocate, atop the Food and Drug Administration — a major shake-up for an agency already rocked by months of turmoil. Multiple outlets say Overton, now deputy assistant for domestic policy, is the pick for FDA commissioner, a choice that would put a prominent Trump health aide in control of a powerful regulator at the center of fierce fights over abortion, vaccines and parental health policy.
