Roblox is under fire after Australia’s eSafety commissioner found adults could still see child accounts and send connection requests on the gaming platform, despite promised protections. The regulator says children’s profiles, names and interests were visible to anyone, and says tougher, verifiable safety measures are critical if Roblox is to keep operating. The company has now handed over a legal commitment to overhaul the service, after earlier changes still left alarming gaps in how kids could be contacted and exposed.
