Penn State’s Greek system is in the crosshairs after prosecutors said a cocaine trafficking ring was run through two fraternities, with drugs allegedly cut and packaged inside Delta Upsilon and Sigma Chi houses before being pushed mostly to other students. Fourteen people have been charged, including 13 current or former Penn State students and one father accused of covering up evidence, as authorities say ex-students made repeated runs from Philadelphia and New York with “large quantities” of cocaine. The attorney general called it a “coordinated and highly-profitable” crew — and said for some pledges, packaging cocaine was part of the fraternity initiation culture.
