Ceuta is spiraling. Spanish authorities are investigating 15 alleged sexual assaults in the North African enclave after last month’s unprecedented migrant influx from Morocco, including a reported attack on a 10-year-old girl; two suspects have been detained, one person expelled, and at least five victims have needed specialist hospital care. The latest alleged attack came Friday night, when three people described as brothers were reportedly caught trying to assault the child. As Spain reinforces security and Morocco hauls in hundreds in fresh border crackdowns, the fallout from the mass crossing — and the law-and-order nightmare it unleashed — is only deepening.
